Maximum Skating  & NSW Government Health Terms and Conditions of Entry

NSW Government Health Entry Restrictions

  • Maximum Skating is totally committed to the health and safety of all its staff and customers. Whilst the sanitation of our equipment has always been kept to a high standard, we've included extra processes in our venue in response to COVID-19:
  • Increased cleaning and sanitation of all skates and all areas.
  • Increased stocks of sanitizing supplies.
  • Increased staff training in regard to cleaning and sanitizing including -All crew members completing the Australian Government Department of Health Infection Control Training Certificate.
  • Awareness and signage of hygiene procedures throughout the center.
  • Awareness and signage promoting and displaying 1.5 social distancing throughout the center
  • Our current cleaning and sanitation procedures are what is currently recommended by the NSW Health Department.
  • To comply with NSW Government Regulations -
  • Upon reopening staff and customers can only access Max Arena if they are fully vaccinated or medically exempt.
  • You will need to produce proof of your covid-19 vaccination certificate to gain access to our venue. This can be done by providing a digital copy on your phone or a hard copy – we won’t keep this; we only need to sight a copy. Find our more about vaccination certificate.
  • People under the age of 16 who are not fully vaccinated must be accompanied by a fully vaccinated member of their household
  • COVID Safe QR Code check-in via the Service NSW App will remain in conjunction with standard sign-in procedures.
  • Please note, masks will remain mandatory for all indoor premises and settings, except for children under 12.
  • A mask must be worn when spectating or moving within Max Arena eg going to and returning from the canteen.
  • A person may remove their mask if they are eating or drinking or participating in exercise when skating on the rink surface only.
  • Additionally, we ask you to help by -
  • Not attending Maximum Skating if you or a family member are unwell and refrain from visiting until you have recovered or been cleared by your doctor or had a Covid-19 negative test result.
  • Please use the sanitizing stations throughout the building –
  • Sanitize when first entering the Rink
  • Spectators 12 years+ must wear a mask while visiting.
  • Sanitize before entering the skating surface
  • Please utilise the two-track system on the rink surface which provides markings to help with social distancing while skating.
  • Sanitize when leaving the skating surface.
  • We will be closely monitoring the situation and following advice from the NSW Department of Health and updating our response accordingly.

Maximum Skating General  Entry

WARNING Skating activities can be inherently dangerous and serious accidents can and do happen. Maximum Skating recommends all patrons LEARN TO SKATE prior to participating in skating activities within Max Arena. Should you choose to participate in skating activities you do so at your OWN RISK.

Maximum Skating recommends ALL skaters use protective helmets and guards while participating in skating activities. Skaters have the option to hire SAFETY KITS and Training Frames which are available for hire.

By entering and participating in skating activities you accept and assume the inherent risks involved in skating activities and that you may be exposed to certain risks during skating activities including but not limited to loud music , darkened lighting ,falling ,crashing into another person(s), being physically or mentally injured, impaired, maimed or killed and your property may be damaged lost or destroyed.


Children must be supervised by a parent , guardian or accompanying adult at all times while within Max Arena and it's car parks . Parents , Guardians or any Adult accompanying children to Max Arena are solely responsible for the children in their care at all times while entering , skating ,visiting and exiting Max Arena.


A child under four years old accompanied by a parent or a sibling paying a full entry session price may enter and skate free in a general skating session including Free Skate Hire and Free Extra Small Frame Hire for the child's use only - if a under four year old is not accompanied by a paying parent or sibling who intends to skate; the standard entry fee is applicable ; excluding fees for skate and frame hire which are FREE for a child under 4 years old. *FREE Entry is for a public skating session only - Free entry is not valid for birthday party packages or any other products and services offered by Maximum Skating.


Skaters are required to wear their entry wrist band at all times while skating , this is to provide staff with a way to identify a paying entry. Please follow Maximum Skating Staff instructions at all times while visiting the Arena. Spectators are not required to pay a entry fee or wear a wrist band to watch.





NO OUTSIDE FOOD or DRINK is permitted to be brought into Max Arena including unbooked self catering Birthday Parties and / or Birthday Cakes.
